Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and loosely form into balls with your hands.
Place the ground beef balls between the wax paper squares and press down with a cast-iron skillet then season with salt and pepper.
Heat large cast-iron skillet on grill or stovetop on medium-high heat (Hot)!
Cook patties (2 at a time) for 2 minutes undisturbed. Flip patties and Smash the edges 1 minute.
Add cheese on top of each burger. Cook until cheese melts to desired doneness(1-minute medium-rare).
Serve with desired toppings and condiments.
