Taste dis Smash Burger

Smash burgers are a great way to change up your regular burger routine and make restaurant style smash burgers. Smash dis burger is gonna be your new favorite burger, try it. Enjoy

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Angus Ground Beef
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sliced cheese: American Cheese Cheddar, Gouda, or Colby Jack(be creative)
  • Brioche Sesame seed buns
  • Optional toppings: Bacon tomatoes, pickles, mayo, mustard, ketchup, etc.

Method
 

  1. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and loosely form into balls with your hands.
  2. Place the ground beef balls between the wax paper squares and press down with a cast-iron skillet then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat large cast-iron skillet on grill or stovetop on medium-high heat (Hot)!
  4. Cook patties (2 at a time) for 2 minutes undisturbed. Flip patties and Smash the edges 1 minute.
  5. Add cheese on top of each burger. Cook until cheese melts to desired doneness(1-minute medium-rare).
  6. Serve with desired toppings and condiments.
