Spicy Louisiana BBQ Shrimp

Kenny's back in the kitchen and this time he's preparing his version of Louisiana spicy BBQ shrimp. Whether you call them New Orleans or Louisiana style these Bogus BBQ shrimp have a style of their own, they can be grilled or baked and are slightly spicy with a New Awlins kick. TasteDis!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Lb shrimp
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 Tb butter
Sauce ingredients
  • 2 Tb sweet chili sauce
  • 2 Tb olive oil
  • 1 Tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp hot sauce or sriracha
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 Tb parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. In large bowl mix marinade ingredients and set to side
  3. Heat skillet over medium temp
  4. Add butter allow to fully melt
  5. Add sauce, mix fully with butter and simmer 2-3 min
  6. Lightly season both sides of jumbo shrimp with salt and pepper
  7. Spread shrimp evenly in baking dish and fully coat with sauce
  8. Cover with foil and bake 10-15 min
