Garlic Beef and Broccoli

Want to make great Asian meals at home? This garlic, beef, broccoli, and noodles dish will make your family smile. Easy to make with rice noodles, flank steak, and a savory sauce, this garlic beef and broccoli noodle is amazing. Enjoy

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces wide rice noodles
  • 2-3 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 1 lb flank or skirt steak sliced against the grain
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 8 ounces baby bella mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a large pot of water cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Add your Broccoli in the last 5 minutes until tender. Drain.
  3. Meanwhile, heat oil to a large cast iron skillet and cook on medium heat until no longer pink.
  4. Add your garlic and mushrooms, combine and cook for another minute or so.
  5. In a small bowl whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, red pepper and cornstarch.
  6. Add your Broccoli and noodles to the mix, pour sauce over the top, toss
