Remove skin from chicken. Place chicken in a freezer bag for future use.
Wash Chicken skins and pat dry with paper towels.
Place chicken skins on a flat surface and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
Next toss skins in flour. Shake off excess flour and place skins on a wire rack.
In a large skillet heat oil to medium-high heat (350 degrees).
Place skins in hot oil (don't overcrowd the pan).
Cook for 3-5 minutes flipping and watching carefully. Skins will float to the top when crispy and ready.
Once skins are golden brown place them on a wire rack to drain oil. Add additional spices if needed.
