Fried Catfish

Fried catfish is a southern classic and Kenny's gonna shows how to make fried catfish better than your momma, enjoy.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Catfish Fillets
  • 2 cups yellow cornmeal
  • ½ cup flour Optional
  • 2 Tbsp of each:
  • All Purpose Seasoning
  • Black pepper
  • Lemon Pepper
  • Cajun Seasoning
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Clean fish and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl add cornmeal and seasonings.
  3. Dredge fish well and set on a plate.
  4. Heat oil to 350° F.
  5. Fry fish in batches 4-5 minutes until crispy and golden.
  6. Remove and place on a rack.
  7. Serve with baked Spaghetti if it's Friday. Be sure to have some extra hot sauce for dipping.
