Method
- In a large bowl combine oil, seasonings, egg, mustard and hot sauce. Mix well.
- Add Cornish hen half and massage mixture into Hens then let it set 30 minutes.
- In a large container add flour, cornstarch, and 1 Tbsp all purpose seasoning and Cajun Seasoning. Mix well.
- Dredge hen half's and place on a large plate.
- Heat cooking oil to 325°F
- Fry hens (turning every 3 minutes) until golden brown (his should take about 12 to 15 minutes).
- Remove Hens to a paper towel lined baking sheet and allow to cool slightly.
Serve with your favorite sides.
