Mix Marinade
- Add the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, honey, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, ginger, oregano, turmeric, cayenne, salt, and cracked black pepper in a bowl and whisk to combine.
- In a zipper-lock freezer bag place chicken or veggies etc. Pour Shawarma Marinade over and refrigerate. At least an hour overnight even better.
Grilling
- Heat grill to medium-high heat
- Place meat on skewers.
- Grill 5-10 minutes until done. Rotating frequently.
Served on pita, over rice or salad with roasted veggies, pickled red onions, tzatziki, or yogurt dressing.
