Cajun Lamb Steaks

Kenny's back in the kitchen with a thick-cut lamb chop. Spiced with his own mix of spices to give it that great Cajun taste, dis is one you have to check out.

Ingredients
  

  • Lamb steak
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp oregano leaves
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp thyme
  • Garlic powder
  • Rosemary
  • Basil

Method
 

  1. Create a seasoning blend by combining 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp oregano leaves, 1/4 tsp cumin, and 1/4 tsp thyme
  2. Dust both sides of steak with garlic powder
  3. Season both sides of steak with seasoning blend
  4. Preheat skillet with 1-2 tbsp oil on med-high heat
  5. Lay steak on hot skillet grill and sprinkle with rosemary and basil (reduce heat to medium)
  6. Grill until internal temp 145 (med rare) 5 min per side
