Turkey, black bean and chicken Andouille sausage chili

Ingredients
- Andouille sausage
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 diced onion
- 1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes (or fresh)
- 1 can black beans (drained)
- 12 oz marinara sauce
- 5-6 oz water
Directions
- Place 2-3 tsp of olive oil in pan and preheat over med high heat
- Add diced onions and saute 1-2 min
- Add ground turkey and season with garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, chili powder and cumin
- Break up meat, mix and simmer 10 min until brown
- Drain oil once done
- Add diced tomatoes, black beans, marinara sauce and 5-6 oz water
- Reduce heat and stir and simmer for 30 min
- Preheat oven to 375
- Cut small slices along top of Andouille sausage (to decrease cooking time) and bake for 15 min
- Remove sausage, cut into small pieces and add to chili
- Simmer chili 30 min until it thickens (longer simmer time the better)
