
Philly Cheese Steak Stuffed Peppers
This Philly cheese steak stuffed pepper is a step above. Prepared with buttery caramelized onions and packed with flavor, you've never had your pepper stuffed like this before, enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1 pkg shaved beef or thin sliced Rib-eye
- 5-6 red green, orange, and yellow bell peppers (washed, dried, tops and inner membranes removed)
- 1 small onion sliced
- 2 garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 1 cup cooked Basmati or Jasmine Rice
- Hellman's Roasted Garlic Sauce
- All purpose Seasoning or your favorite steak Seasoning
- 1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil for cooking
- 1 Tbsp butter
- Cheese: Swiss Gruyere blend and or top with Provolone
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- In a medium sized baking dish place peppers upside-down and bake for 10-15 minutes until softened a bit.
- In a large cast iron skillet add 1 Tbsp of oil and melt butter. Bring to medium heat.
- Saute onions until translucent.
- Add garlic and saute another minute or so.
- Push to the side and add steak. Season with a Tbsp Seasoning. Cook until no longer pink then combine with onion/garlic mixture.
- Remove peppers from oven and season interior with salt and pepper.
- Add a layer of rice and add a bit of Roasted Garlic Sauce.
- Next add cheese layer. Follow with Philly Cheese Steak mixture, more sauce and finally top with more cheese.
- Bake for another 10-15 until cheese melts to a beautiful golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes.
