Personal Mac and Cheese Bowl with Garlic Butter Lump Crab
IngredientsÂ
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 8 oz sharp Cheddar cheese shredded
- 8 oz Colby Jack cheese shredded
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley for garnish
- 1 Tbsp your Favorite Creole season (add to cheese sauce)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (and a 1/2 cup on reserve)
- 8 oz lump crab
- 4-5 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Boil elbow macaroni per Instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet melt 2 Tbsp butter over medium low heat. Combine flour and mix well to create a roux. Add 1 cup heavy whipping cream stir for 1 minute. Add Creole Seasoning.
- Next add half of the Cheddar and Colby Jack cheese and stir until blended well.
- Add macaroni and mix well.
- Pour macaroni mixture into small ramekin, top with remaining cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Meanwhile in a large skillet melt 1/2 stick of butter and garlic on low heat. Add salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder and oregano. Mix well then add lump crab to the mix combining well.
- Remove Mac and Cheese from the oven. Top with fresh chopped parsley and garlic butter lump crab.
