Pepper Steak

Ingredients
  • 1lb Thin sliced steak(round, flank or sirloin)
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil (divided)
  • 2 peppers (1 red, 1green) thin sliced or cubed
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Directions
  1. Pre-cut your steak and vegetables and set aside in separate dishes.
  2. Mix your soy, cornstarch, brown sugar and spices together and place in the refrigerator until ready for use.
  3. Using a large skillet, heat 1 Tbsp of oil over Medium high heat. Toss in vegetables for 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Heat the other Tbsp of olive oil over Medium high heat. Add your meat and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until starting to brown.
  5. Add vegetables back in as well as your glaze mixture and cook for another 2 minutes just until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat.
  6. Serve over a bed of rice.
