Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass

Chilean Sea Bass bass is a delicious flaky white fish. If you can find Sea Bass in your local store or market it makes for a simple and nutritious meal that cooks up in minutes. We paired ours with a sauteed veggie medley.
Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass

Ingredients 

  • 8oz Chilean Sea Bass
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
The Method 
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Make sure fish is thawed (if frozen). Pat dry with paper towel. Season both sides of your fish with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a medium sized oven safe skillet on medium high heat.
  4. Add olive oil and melt butter.
  5. Sear Chilean Sea Bass about 3 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer skillet to oven and let fish finish for about 8 minutes.
  7. Serve over rice or Sautéed Veggies.
