Sticky Savory Orange Chicken Kabobs
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- For Orange Sauce:
- Juice of 3-4 navel oranges
- Zest from 1 navel orange
- 6 garlic cloves minced
- 11/2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (reduced sodium)
- 2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 5 Tbsp brown sugar

- Combine all ingredients for Sticky Orange Sauce In a large bowl.
- Whisk together and set almost a cup to the side for later basting.
- Cut each chicken piece into 3’s.
- Place chicken pieces in Orange Marinade for at least 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile preheat a grill to high heat.
- After at least 30 minutes of marinating, place chicken pieces on skewers (if wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes).
- Cook chicken Kabobs on grill, turning frequently until meat is done (golden brown).
- Heat the remaining sauce on low just until sauce thickens slightly.
- Brush chicken with orange sauce on both sides when almost ready to come off of the grill.
- Serve with Salad or desired side.
