Level up your salmon with this Miso butter salmon recipe. Miso is an Asian soy paste and spice that adds a wicked wow to your salmon, enjoy.
Miso Butter Salmon
INGREDIENTS
- 4-6 6oz Salmon Filets
- 6 Tbsp unsalted butter softened
- 3 Tbsp Miso Paste
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1-2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 2-3 Tbsp green onions thinly sliced
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium sized bowl combine butter, Miso paste, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and green onions.
- Use a potato masher or spatula to mash ingredients together.
- Using a butter knife, spread Miso Butter over the entire piece of salmon.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Place salmon in a baking dish and bake 12-14 minutes until opaque and almost done.
- After baking broil on high for 2-3 minutes until the salmon tops begin to caramelize.
- Remove from oven, transfer to a serving platter.
- Drizzle remaining butter on salmon tops and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds and serve over white rice and veggies.
