The decadent taste of lobster in a egg roll, yes please. These egg rolls are jumbo sized, made with seasoned lobster meat, and deep fried to golden goodness, enjoy.
Maine Lobster Style Egg rolls
Ingredients
- 4-5 Lobster Tails (removed from shell, cleaned and cut into bite-sized chunks)
- 1/4 cup celery diced
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper diced
- 2-3 garlic cloves minced
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 egg (beaten with 1/3 cup water for egg wash)
- Extra Large Egg roll/Spring roll wrappers (8×8in)
- Oil for frying
Directions
- Heat large skillet to medium heat. Add butter.
- Once melted add lobster meat, celery, red bell pepper, garlic and Old Bay Seasoning.
- Combine and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool in the fridge about 15 minutes.
- Lay out egg roll wrapper. Brush the edges with egg wash.
- Spoon in slightly cooled lobster mix.
- Fold up the bottom corner. Then fold in the sides.
- Roll up and seal the egg rolls.
- Heat 2-3 cups oil in a Dutch oven to 350°F.
- Place Egg rolls in and deep fry 2-3 minutes, flipping once until golden brown.
- Remove to a paper towel lined baking sheet.
- Let cool slightly. Serve with Bang Bang Sauce.
