This recipe which includes garlic and white wine takes lamb chop loins sears them to perfection and drenches them in a creamy thyme mustard sauce, delicious.
Lamb Chop Loins w/ Thyme Mustard Sauce
Prep time: 30 min (marinade)
Cook time: 20 min
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- 1/4 ounce fresh thyme
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 lamb chop loins
Directions
- Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper
- Mix well
- Marinade chops in mixture and let sit for 30 min @ room temp
- Once chops are ready preheat an skillet over medium high heat
- cook chops 4 min per side
- Once chops a done remove from pan and set to side
- Using the same skillet add 1 cup white wine and bring to boil
- Add 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- Add 1 clove garlic minced and thyme
- Stir and bring to boil
- Reduce heat and simmer several minutes until thickens
- Return chops to mustard sauce and simmer several minutes
