Honey Garlic Lemon Pepper Chicken
Ingredients
- 4-6 Chicken thighs (bone in)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp Smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
For Glaze
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 2-3 cloves garlic minced
- 2-3 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup water or chicken stock
- 1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- Juice of half a lemon (slice the remaining half for garnish)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Wash Chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl mix dry seasoning ingredients then add olive oil and combine.
- Generously season chicken and let marinate at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight).
- Place chicken on wire rack baking sheet. Bake about 30 minutes per side.
- In a medium sized skillet or saucepan melt butter over medium low heat.
- Add garlic, honey, water or chicken stock, soy sauce, lemon juice and lemon slices. Reduce heat to low, simmer and stir until sauce thickens.
- Baste chicken with Honey Garlic Lemon sauce and place back in the over for 4-5 minutes until sauce is Caramelized.
- Remove and serve with favorite sides.
