Making a great Florentine steak doesn’t need to be complicated. Follow this simply recipe to prepare the perfect grilled rib-eye Florentine steak, enjoy.
Grilled Rib-Eye Steak Florentine
INGREDIENTS
- 2 1lb. Bone in Rib-Eye Steak
- For the herb oil
- 3-4 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 small handful fresh Rosemary
- 1 small handful fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Season steak generously with salt and pepper (about a Tbsp of each).
- Place garlic, Rosemary, basil leaves and extra virgin olive oil in a food processor add pulse until blended well.
- Preheat grill to 350° F or grill pan to medium high heat.
- Grill steaks 3-4 minutes per side (flipping every 2 minutes) or until your desired doneness. Baste with garlic herb oil on every flip.
- Remove from heat. Pour remaining herb oil on steaks and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with grilled colorful bell peppers and smashed potatoes.
