Gochujang Honey Shrimp
Ingredients
- 12-16oz peeled deveined shrimp
- 4 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1-2 Green onions finely chopped
- For Gochujang Honey Sauce
- 1 Tbsp gochujang
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp sesame seed oil
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp garlic minced
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Directions
- Add Shrimp, cornstarch, garlic powder and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until Shrimp is coated nicely.
- In a separate bowl mix together gochujang honey sauce ingredients.
- Meanwhile bring a nonstick skillet to a medium high heat. Add oil.
- Once hot cook Shrimp until crispy and golden brown.
- Bring heat to a low and pour gochujang honey sauce over the Shrimp.
- Gently toss and serve with a green onion and sesame seed topping..
