Gochujang Honey Shrimp

Gochujang Honey Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 12-16oz peeled deveined shrimp
  • 4 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1-2 Green onions finely chopped
  • For Gochujang Honey Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp gochujang
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seed oil
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions

  1. Add Shrimp, cornstarch, garlic powder and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until Shrimp is coated nicely.
  2. In a separate bowl mix together gochujang honey sauce ingredients.
  3. Meanwhile bring a nonstick skillet to a medium high heat. Add oil.
  4. Once hot cook Shrimp until crispy and golden brown.
  5. Bring heat to a low and pour gochujang honey sauce over the Shrimp.
  6. Gently toss and serve with a green onion and sesame seed topping..
