The perfect French toast flight and steak brunch recipe

Kenny’s back in the kitchen putting together a meal you can eat any time of the day breakfast, lunch, dinner or brunch.

French Toast Flight

Ingredients

Hash brown potatoes

  • 3 red potatoes (diced)
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 1 small red and yellow pepper (diced)
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper
  • Lawry seasoning

French toast flights (serves 4)

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or substitute)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt (pinch)
  • Powdered sugar

Directions

Hash brown potatoes

  1. Diced up the potatoes, peppers, and onions
  2. Preheat an oiled pan on med-high heat and add all veggies
  3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and all seasoning
  4. Mix veggies and seasoning then reduce heat to med-low and simmer for 20 min

French toast flight

  1. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt
  2. Preheat a buttered grill to 350 (med-high)
  3. Dip a bread slice batter covering both sides
  4. Place on hot grill and cook 2 min per side
  5. Remove from grill and sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar
  6. Served with Fruit or maple syrup
