French Toast Flight
Ingredients
Hash brown potatoes
- 3 red potatoes (diced)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 small red and yellow pepper (diced)
- 2-3 tbsp olive oil
- Garlic powder
- Salt & pepper
- Lawry seasoning
French toast flights (serves 4)
- 8 slices of bread
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk (or substitute)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt (pinch)
- Powdered sugar
Directions
Hash brown potatoes
- Diced up the potatoes, peppers, and onions
- Preheat an oiled pan on med-high heat and add all veggies
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and all seasoning
- Mix veggies and seasoning then reduce heat to med-low and simmer for 20 min
French toast flight
- In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt
- Preheat a buttered grill to 350 (med-high)
- Dip a bread slice batter covering both sides
- Place on hot grill and cook 2 min per side
- Remove from grill and sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar
- Served with Fruit or maple syrup
