Dry batter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cayenne
- 2 tsp turmeric
Wet batter
- 1 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp dill sea
- 1 beer 6 oz.
- 1/2 cup pickle juice
chips
- 2-3 potatoes
Directions
Fish
- Prepare the wet and dry batter by combining ingredients
- Preheat skillet and oil to 350 med-high heat
- Dredge fish is dry batter
- Place dredged fish in wet batter
- Deep fry fish fillets in hot oil for 4-5 min
- Dry fillets on wire rack
Chips
- Peel potatoes
- Cut into thick wedges
- Deep fry in hot oil for 5 min until golden brown
A side of tartar sauce and a lemon wedge is all you need to complete this meal.
