How to prepare a Cowboy rib eye steak

Cowboy Rib-Eye Steak

Ingredients

  • 3/4 in thick rib-eye steak
  • Rosemary

Seasoning blend

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Season both sides of steak with seasoning blend
  2. Top both sides off evenly with rosemary
  3. Preheat cast-iron skillet over med-high temp (add 1 tsp oil)
  4. Once the skillet is hot drop in the steak (it should sizzle)
  5. Let the meat cook 4 min per side you (can add 1 Tb of butter halfway thru)
This rib-eye comes out great every time, just plate and enjoy!
