Method
- Preheat skillet with 1-2 tsp oil on med-high heat
- Cook meat until brown (3-5 min) break up meat thoroughly
- Remove meat and drain oils
- Add 1 tbsp of butter to the hot pan (med heat) and allow to melt
- Add 1/2 yellow onion chopped and 1/2 bell pepper chopped
- Let veggies brown for 1-2 minute (don't stir) then flip, stir and let brown again 1-2 min
- Add browned meat to veggie pan
- Season with 1 clove garlic, 2 tsp mustard, 3/4 cup ketchup, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Mix and cook down 5-10 min
- Scoop mix onto buns (for an extra flavor add cheese and pickles)
