
Chicken Shawarma Marinade recipe

Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs cubed try with veggies/equally DOPE
- ΒΌ cup Olive oil i used extra virgin
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 garlic cloves smashed
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 11/2 tsp cumin
- 11/2 tsp smoked paprika
- ΒΎ tsp cinnamon
- ΒΎ tsp ground ginger
- ΒΎ tsp dried oregano
- ΒΎ tsp ground turmeric
- ΒΌ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Method
- Mix Shawarma Marinade: Add the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, honey, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, ginger, oregano, turmeric, cayenne, salt, and cracked black pepper in a bowl and whisk to combine.
- Marinate: in a zipper-lock freezer bag place chicken or veggies etc. Pour Shawarma Marinade over and refrigerate. At least an hour overnight even better.
- Grill on medium-high heat on skewers or however you desire. 5-10 minutes until done. Rotating frequently.
- Served on pita, over rice or salad with roasted veggies, pickled red onions, tzatziki, or yogurt dressing.
