Kenny’s back in the kitchen with a thick-cut lamb chop. Spiced with his own mix of spices to give it that great Cajun taste, dis is one you have to check out.
Cajun Lamb Steaks
Ingredients
- Lamb steak
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- Garlic powder
- Rosemary
- Basil
Directions
- Create a seasoning blend by combining 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp oregano leaves, 1/4 tsp cumin, and 1/4 tsp thyme
- Dust both sides of steak with garlic powder
- Season both sides of steak with seasoning blend
- Preheat skillet with 1-2 tbsp oil on med-high heat
- Lay steak on hot skillet grill and sprinkle with rosemary and basil (reduce heat to medium)
- Grill until internal temp 145 (med rare) 5 min per side
