Butter Poached Lobster Tails

Up your cooking game with butter poached lobster tails. These lobster tails are simply to prepare and taste amazing, enjoy.

 

Butter Poached Lobster Tails 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-3 Lobster tails (5-6 ounces each)
  • 1 cup unsalted grass fed butter
  • 2 Cloves garlic minced
  • Fresh herbs (Thyme or Parsley)
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Thaw lobster tails in cold water if frozen. Pat dry.
  2. Cut down the center of the shell with kitchen shears.
  3. Carefully open and remove Lobster meat. Clean and de-vein.
  4. In the saucepan on low heat, melt the butter with garlic and herbs stirring gently.
  5. Once melted squeeze in lemon juice.
  6. Add Lobster Tails to butter mixture and poach for 10 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 140°F.
  7. Remove from heat and allow to rest briefly. Season with salt
