This Baked Manicotti recipe is an awesome pasta dish made with cream filled pasta shells, cheese, and red sauce. Kenny takes us into his kitchen and makes this easy baked manicotti, TasteDis.
Baked Manicotti

Ingredients
- 1 Lb turkey sausage
- 2 Tb olive oil
- 1/2 cup onions
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella
- Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp saltÂ
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup spinach cooked spinach
- Manicotti noodles
Directions
- In large skillet heat 2 Tb olive oil over medium hi heat
- Add sausage and brown 3-4 minutes
- Once pink is gone mix in onions and garlic
- Allow to cook 3-4 min until meat browns
Cheese mix
- In large bowl add ricotta
- Add cheese, Italian seasoning, egg, salt and pepper
- Mix ingredients until thoroughly blended
- Add spinach and again mix thoroughly
- Finally add in the meat and fold together until combined
Noodles
- Boil noodles 3-4 minutes or half the time of the directions
- Place noodles on baking sheet and allow to cool before stuffing
Stuffing
- Fill piper bag with meat/cheese filling
- Insert bag opening into center of noodle an apply steady even pressure
- Slowly fill noodle center with meat/cheese
Baking
- Preheat oven to 350
- Line bottom of baking dish with layer of marinara sauce
- Place noodles on top of sauce in baking dish
- Top noodles with more marinara sauce covering completely
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 min
- Remove from oven and cover with a layer of mozzarella cheese
- Return to oven for 10 min or until cheese is melted.
