Add a kick to your stir fried meals with this unique Cajun-Asian fusion dish. This Asian styled stir fry can be paired with your choice of protein and seasoned with a Cajun flair, enjoy.
Asian Slightly Cajun Inspired Stir-fry
Ingredients
- 1-2 thin sliced boneless skinless chicken
breasts sliced into strips - 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 14 oz Stir-fry rice noodles
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 small piece ginger grated
- 3 green onions sliced (white part only)
- 1 Zucchini sliced
- 1 cup Broccoli Florets
- 1 cup baby Bella mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup sugar snap peas
- Red bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup canned bean sprouts
- 1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce and 1 tsp for later
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 2-3 tsp Chili sauce
Directions
- Mix Seasoning for chicken in a small bowl.
Heat 1-2 Tbsp oil in large skillet or wok over Medium high heat. In a large bowl add chicken, 1 Tbsp soy sauce and Seasoning blend to chicken. Mix well and cook until golden brown and done( about 4-5 minutes).
Remove to a plate and set aside - In the same pan add 1-2 Tbsp oil. Add garlic, ginger and green onions let cook for 30 seconds or so. Add Broccoli, snap peas, bean sprouts and red pepper. Mix well. Meanwhile cook rice noodles according to package.
- Add Zucchini and mushrooms. Cook another minute then return chicken. Cook and mix another minute. Add noodles, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp oyster sauce and 2-3 teaspoons chili sauce. Mix well and serve immediately.
