Argentine Red Shrimp and Chimichurri Sauce

Argentinian red shrimp is one of the tastiest shrimp around. With a slight lobster taste this shrimp pairs wonderfully with Chimichurri sauce, enjoy.

 

Argentine Red Shrimp and Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1-2 pounds Argentine Red Shrimp(cleaned peeled de veined)
  • Love seasoning as seen on Grilled Catfish recipe
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Chimichurri Sauce:

  • 1 cup fresh Italian flat leaf parsley (leaves only)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 fresh oregano leaves
  • 1/3 cup red onion chopped
  • 3-4 garlic cloves peeled
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt

Directions

  1. Add parsley, cilantro, oregano, red onion and garlic to a food processor. Pulse to mince.
  2. Add olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice and red pepper flakes. Pulse to mix well.
  3. Add Kosher Salt to taste.
  4. Transfer to Mason jar.
  5. Add Shrimp to a large plate, drizzle with olive oil. Season both sides with the Love.
  6. In a large skillet heat 1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil.
  7. Cook shrimp about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  8. Remove and serve immediately with Chimichurri Sauce.
