Add a tasty twist to your lame lamb chops with this honey jerk lamb chop recipe. Lamp chops are first marinaded in honey, oranges, and thyme then grilled to perfection, enjoy.
Honey Jerk Lamb chops
INGREDIENTS
- 8 Lamb rib chops
- 1 1/2 Tbsp jerk Marinade
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 Tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Zest and juice of half of an orange
- To Serve:
- Orange wedges
- Honey if desired
- Fresh thyme for garnish
Directions
- In a medium sized bowl mix jerk Marinade, honey, fresh thyme, olive oil, orange juice and zest. Whisk together well.
- Place Lamb chops in a large zip lock bag and pour 3/4 of the Marinade over Lamb chops, massage in well and seal. Allow to marinate for at least an hour or up to overnight.
- Preheat grill to medium high or white hot charcoal if using charcoal.
- Grill Lamb chops for about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a plate and let rest a few minutes before serving.
