Miso Butter Salmon

Level up your salmon with this Miso butter salmon recipe. Miso is an Asian soy paste and spice that adds a wicked wow to your salmon, enjoy.

 

Miso Butter Salmon

INGREDIENTS

  • 4-6 6oz Salmon Filets
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 3 Tbsp Miso Paste
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1-2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 2-3 Tbsp green onions thinly sliced

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium sized bowl combine butter, Miso paste, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and green onions.
  2. Use a potato masher or spatula to mash ingredients together.
  3. Using a butter knife, spread Miso Butter over the entire piece of salmon.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  5. Place salmon in a baking dish and bake 12-14 minutes until opaque and almost done.
  6. After baking broil on high for 2-3 minutes until the salmon tops begin to caramelize.
  7. Remove from oven, transfer to a serving platter.
  8. Drizzle remaining butter on salmon tops and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds and serve over white rice and veggies.
