Looking for a new burger, try these sirloin steak slider. Made with ground sirloin steak these sliders are perfect for lunch or a quick snack, enjoy.
Gourmet Sirloin Steak Sliders
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground sirloin 90/10
- 1 pkg Brioche slider buns (toasted)
- 1/2 yellow onion sliced 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire
- 1 egg (scrambled/Optional)
- 1 Tbsp of each Salt, black pepper
- 1 8 oz pkg Sharp Cheddar cheese or Gouda
- Chipotle Aioli
Directions
- In a large bowl add ground sirloin, salt, pepper, eggs (if using) and Worcestershire. Using your hands, combine well.
- Form slider sized patties with your hands or spread our sirloin slider mix into parchment paper lined baking sheet about 1 inch thick.
- Use 3in circle cookie cutter to make perfect Sliders. Pro tip: Also use cookie cutter to make perfect circle cheese slices.
- Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan.
- Saute onions about 10 minutes until browned and Caramelized.
- Heat 2 Tbsp of oil to a large cast iron skillet on medium high.
- Cook Sliders 3-4 minutes per side. Top with cheese.
- To build sliders, add Chipotle Aioli to bottom bun.
- Add sirloin slider, top with Caramelized onions and top bun.
- Secure with a fancy Slider skewer if you like. Serve immediately! And Oh yeah…
