To make great wings you need a great sauce 1738 Remy Martin to the rescue. This wing sauce has a full bodied flavor and is made with galic, brown sugar, and to round out the flavor a little 1738 Remy Martin. The wings can be baked, fried, or grill and with this sauce they all come out delicious. Enjoy
1738(Remy Martin)Wings
Ingredients
- 10 Whole Chicken wings (cut into 20 Dings/flats and drums)
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder (about a teaspoon of each/ I used The Blend by Kinder’s)
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour (seasoned/same amount as above)
- Vegetable Oil for frying
- For 1738 (Remy Glaze)
- 12oz. Chili sauce
- 2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup 1738 Remy Martin cognac
- 1/4 cup orange juice
Directions
- Season chicken on both sides.
- Coat in seasoned flour.
- In a deep fryer, large pot, or Dutch oven bring Vegetable Oil to 350°
- Fry chicken pieces 8-12 minutes until golden brown tuning occasionally (grilling or baking chicken is an even healthier option).
- Set aside.
- In decent sized bowl combine sauce ingredients.
- Transfer sauce to a medium sized sauce pan .
- Bring to a boil for about a minute then reduce to simmer until sauce reduces and thickens a bit.
- In a large bowl, toss wings in 1738 glaze.
