This salmon recipe is made with a salmon filet, simmered in a buttery honey garlic glaze. It’s as deliscous as it sounds a must try. Enjoy!
Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon
IngredientsÂ
For the Salmon
- 4 Salmon Filets
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp butter (divided)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Honey Garlic Sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 stick of butter (melted)
- 1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- Juice of 1 small lime
- Lime wedges for garnish
- Green onions for garnish
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix together ground cumin, paprika, Italian seasoning, Old Bay Seasoning, salt and pepper.
- Season both sides of the salmon generously.
- In a medium sized bowl mix together honey, soy sauce, lime juice and melted butter. Whisk together well. Set aside.
- In a large skillet heat olive oil and 1 Tbsp butter over medium high heat.
- Cook salmon (skin side up) 3 to four minutes. (Fyi -you may want to cook salmon in batches to prevent over crowding the pan).
- Flip salmon and cook for another 4 minutes or so until almost done.
- Â Set Salmon on warm plate.
- In the same pan melt 1 Tbsp butter.
- Add garlic for about 30 seconds then return Salmon (skin side down).
- Pour Honey Garlic Sauce over the Salmon and base the tops with the sauce for about 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat.
- Garnish with sliced green onions lime wedges.
